I used the hot water method Felix Immler showed and it works great, no rattle, great retention

Well done, I use a smaller, deeper, plywood box, about 14". Trigger wires are bent inward to avoid paw grabs. Because the box is a close fit, I have a notch cut out for trigger mechanism clearance. Like yours it catches them right behind the ears. Last night I set it on the roof, screwed the chain down, and put the box's closed end against a 1'- 2"x10" sitting in the gutter, with the open end facing towards the roof's peak. 20 min later there was a raccoon hanging mid air. It was instant as yours would have been.

Smaller pieces of wax will melt faster

Why is everybody pooping on the sheath? It's got rivets where it needs it.... My knife fits in there tight.. That will loosen over time I would rather have it tight and loose at 1st. Not all of us wanna a kydex.

Because of this video I bought a BSH5. I like this because of the smaller size. And I'm really digging the sheath. Thank you.

I'm thinking what if you made the pucks with the wood chips and wax and pushed a piece a fiberland dipped and wax on the top and put just a sprinkle a firecracker powder on top of that to make an aggressive light

The hollow grind is what compelled me to pull the trigger and buy one. Hollow grinds are so underrated.
